On Thursday 19th of October, 2017 at The SSE Arena, Wembley, the 80s made a come-back.
For one night only A-ha, Bananarama, Boy George, Erasure, Europe, Imagination, Jason Donovan, Katrina from Katrina & The Waves, Louisa Johnson, Mica Paris, Nick Heyward, OMD, UB40 featuring Ali, Astro and Mickey and more celebrated an iconic decade of music, fashion and of course, the first major BBC Children in Need appeal. In between iconic hits, hosts Fearne Cotton and Sara Cox kept things in check, with Roman Kemp capturing all the action backstage with the star-studded line up.
The concert will be broadcast on UK TV on Monday 13th Nov 8:30pm BBC One (repeats Sat 18th Nov 1:30am).
George performed Culture Club’s ‘Karma Chameleon’, and a tribute to another 80’s icon, Prince, in a rendition of ‘Purple Rain’.
