HELP ISABELLA
Bid for George's hat!
George has kindly donated one of his Philip Treacy hats in order to raise money for a beautiful 2 year old girl who is suffering from cancer.
Isabella Coomber, who's family are friends with George's family, was diagnosed with a brain tumour at 14 months. She has gone through surgery and a year of chemotherapy, but the cancerous growth is still there on Isabella's brain. All coventional treatment available in the UK has been tried, and now her parents have been told that the best chance is proton laser treatment for which Isabella would need to travel to the USA. The NHS have refused funding for this so her family and friends are trying very hard to raise the £150k needed.

We are going to auction of George's gorgeous hat in order to raise as much money as possible for Isabella's charity.
To bid for the hat you need to send in your offer of how much you would be willing to pay for the hat and in doing so contribute to Isabella's fund. This will be a blind auction and simply the person that offers the most will get the hat!
SEND IN YOUR OFFER TO HAT@BOYGEORGEUK.COM
Please remember that only serious offers will be accepted, and obviously dont send in offers if you cannot provide payment when contacted if you are the highest bidder.
BIDDING CLOSES 12:00 MIDNIGHT GMT ON FRI 3RD MAY.
You can find out more about Isabella here www.facebook.com/isabellastory, and also you can donate to Isabella's fund here www.gofundme.com/xcjw8
Thanks for taking part.

'HAPPY'
DJ YODA feat. A BOY CALLED GEORGE
'Happy' is a collaberation between DJ Yoda and George's new 'band' project A Boy Called George!
George is going to use the name A Boy Called George for all of his future 'electronic' music output.
'Happy' is a departure for George, not least in the fact that because of the title, given to him by DJ Yoda, he had to write something not really in keeping with his past lyrical works.
When DJ Yoda got the initial recordings back from George he simply tweeted: 'you SMASHED it!! very excited!'

SEBASTIAN F REMIXES
Amazing Grace/Turn 2 Dust
Next up on Decode rising star Sebastian F delivers two standout remixes of the recent George's hits 'Amazing Grace' & 'Turn 2 Dust'.
Like most of George's music 'Amazing Grace' became something of an instant classic when it was first released in 2010. Two years on and Decode favourite Sebastian F puts his big room house stamp on proceedings with an energetic remix that retains the uplifting euphoria of the original. Combining Ana Lains and George's powerful vocals with sharp synths and an incessant bassline this remix delivers maximum club impact.
Following in suit Sebastian F turns in an equally infectious take on Turn 2 Dust, a track which has received critical acclaim due to the political message in the song as well as both club and Reggae mixes. Warped electro basslines with progressive synth melodies, the music of the remix is as powerful as the message that George delivers.

TABOO
is back!
Brixton Clubhouse are to stage a site-specific revival of the Olivier Award winning Boy George musical.
Taboo will once again be directed by co-creator, Christopher Renshaw and the project is also actively supported by the talents of many of the original creative team including writer Mark Davies Markham and composer/lyricist and star of the original run, Boy George.
Taboo, as most of you will remember, is a story between a young girl and boy swept up in this exciting artistic climate and also focuses on two other young men - Leigh Bowery, a brilliant, anarchic performance artist and designer, and George O'Dowd, a young, rough-edged boy who arrives in London and, once part of the Eighties club world, becomes the surprising crossover star of the scene, Boy George. From squat to superstardom, from rock to rock bottom, both mens' stories are played out against the fantastic background of Taboo, the nightclub that came to symbolise the excess and decadence of 1980s London and subsequently defined a generation.

Casting is now complete, and we can reveal who will play the following roles:

NATASHA ANASTASI
George features on album
George has donated a track on a tribute album for a London singer, Natasha Anastasiades, who died in a car crash.
The album, called simply 'Natasha', will feature the George track 'American Heart', which has been retitled 'Natasha's American Heart'. The version on the album is also the recording George did with Emily Themis, before releasing the song the song as a single in 2009 with Bliss and Alexander Hamnede.
Natasha was on the verge of landing a major record deal when her car hit a tree in Whetstone in 2005.
The 22-year-old, from Wood Green, left behind songs which form the basis for the album, which also features George Michael, Marcella Detroit, who topped the charts with Shakespears Sister in the Eighties, and Antony Costa, of boy band Blue.
Natasha's father, who was her manager, dedicated seven years to the project. He said: "I promised Natasha the world would hear her music." The album will raise funds for the Natasha Foundation, a charity set up by her parents to raise road safety awareness in young people.
The album is out on the 25th June on CD and digital download.

CULTURE CLUB
NEW YEAR SPECIAL
Culture Club completed there New Years gig with overwhelming success.
100% Boy has made a special page to commemorate this special event.
Marc Vedo and Boy George ft. Desi Slava
Number /004 from VG records is 'Kalino Mome'. A fabulous track, for which the boys from VG has teamed up with Bulgarian star Desi Slava, and including remixes from Federico Scavo, Migue Soria and BOOTIK.
The original is peak time progressive house from Marc and George who are proving themselves a powerful combination. Slava's dreamy harmonies provide an uplifting backdrop as energetic synth stabs and techy percussion build into a spine-tingling breakdown. Slava's vocal coupled with emotive piano chords create a euphoric release before the rhythm track returns.
First up on remix duties Italian Federico Scavo turns Kalino Mome into a groovy tech houser with a seriously funky bassline . Migue Soria works Kalino Mome into an electro house anthem, adding some grit to the beats and bass whilst retaining the euphoria of the original. Completing the package, up & coming duo BOOTIK pay homage to Desi Slava's vocal providing a forward-thinking, progressive work out.
Released primarily on Beatport from 30th Jan.
Released by the Music Club Deluxe this February is this double CD of Culture Club's hits, remixes and other well known Culture Club gems!
Inexpensive, at £4.99 RP for a double disc package, this set provides the average Culture Club/George fan with nothing that they havnt already got, but it does collect together all of the CC single releases (well, nearly all) some good remixes, and other album that's that are'nt included in past greatest hits collections.
A must for any serious fans or collectors!
